How Do I Become A Member?
What does it mean to be a member of St. John’s?
St. John’s members are expected to help the Church carry out its mission of restoring all people to unity with God and each other in Christ. Members are asked to attend worship as regularly as possible, participate in on-going spiritual formation, and to make an annual pledge.
Do I need to be Baptized and/or Confirmed?
Baptism marks the beginning of a new life in Christ. To become a member of any Episcopal Church, including St. John’s, baptism is the first step.
Learn More About Baptism
Confirmation is a public affirmation of faith and a commitment to the responsibilities of Baptism. Before you may be confirmed, you are asked to participate in a preparatory class.
How do I move my membership record to St. John’s from another parish?
If you have previously been a member of another church and would like to transfer your church membership to St. John’s, contact the Parish Administrator either by phone (405-321-3020) or by email at tredden@episcopalnorman.org . You will be asked to provide some basic information about yourself so we may complete your membership record and notify your previous parish.
